About

Subnetting should be visible.

Clear Subnet Calculator is an independent collection of visual networking tools built to make IPv4 subnetting faster to calculate and easier to understand. The core tools run locally in the browser and do not require an account.

The site is designed for network engineers, developers, cybersecurity practitioners, cloud users and students. Its goal is simple: combine accurate subnet math with an interface that shows what CIDR notation actually does to a 32-bit address.

How the tools work

The calculator converts IPv4 addresses to their 32-bit integer representation, applies the CIDR subnet mask, and derives the aligned network address, broadcast address, host range, address count and wildcard mask. Dedicated reference pages explain individual prefixes and common subnetting tasks.

Accuracy matters for networking tools. If you find an error or ambiguous explanation, please use the contact page so it can be reviewed.
